Robert D. Goldstein, Founder & President

Bob founded The Equity Group in 1974, and can be considered one of the early entrants in investor relations. Before founding the firm, Bob was Vice President of an investor relations firm, Assistant to the President of Federated Capital Corp. (an Investment Bank), and on the audit staff of Ernst & Young. Bob holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Bob has served on the Boards of several public companies, and has advised many pre-IPO companies on their business plans and the IPO process, and has made many introductions to Investment Banks and other financing sources. Under Bob's leadership, The Equity Group has provided investor relations services to hundreds of micro to mid-cap companies, through various economic cycles. The Equity Group acquires the majority of its new business through referrals from money managers, lawyers, investment bankers, analysts, clients, accountants and directors. Client relationships average seven years and many span 10+ years. Bob's expertise in finance and his deep experience in the investment community provide an invaluable resource to Equity Group clients. He acts in an advisory capacity, counseling clients on financings, relations with the investment community, communicating major news, and all areas that relate to their postures as public companies.

Linda Latman, Executive Vice President

Linda joined The Equity Group in 1980. In the ensuing years, she has been responsible for all phases of investor relations programs, across a broad spectrum of industries. She has developed expertise in business, financial, consumer, environmental, industrial and healthcare services; as well as consumer, industrial, technology, and security products. She has written countless news releases, annual reports, corporate profiles, presentations, scripts and speeches. Proactive investment community contact work on behalf of clients has earned Linda the respect and trust of analysts, portfolio managers, and stockbrokers who look to her for investment ideas that meet their specific growth, value, size, industry-specific and/or other investment criteria. Utilizing her strong press contacts and nose for news Linda also produces major media placements for clients in publications including Business Week, Dow Jones, Investor's Business Daily, Bloomberg, among many others. Prior to joining The Equity Group, Linda was Vice President of Irving L. Straus Associates, which within months of her departure was acquired by Financial Relations Board. Linda is a graduate of Washington University, St. Louis, MO.

Devin Sullivan, Senior Vice President

Devin joined The Equity Group in 1993 and since that time has been developing and executing results-driven investor relations programs and providing C-level strategic communications counsel for a diverse group of NYSE, NASDAQ and NYSE-Amex listed public companies. Devin has earned a reputation as a skilled counselor and communicator of new issues, growth stories, turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, SPACs, restructurings, and crises. An award-winning writer and account manager, Devin has been quoted in The Washington Post, Investor Relations Business and Ragan's Media Relations Report. Devin received an MBA with honors from Adelphi University and a BA in English and BA in Sociology from Fairfield University.

Loren G. Mortman, Senior Vice President

Loren has been with The Equity Group since 1997. She has developed and implemented investor relations programs for companies in various industries. Loren spent 10 years managing all aspects of investor relations programs, including writing, investment community contact work, media relations, and counseling. She now focuses on corporate development for The Equity Group. Prior to joining The Equity Group, Loren spent two years as a Financial Analyst at Brenner Securities, an Investment Bank. She was responsible for building financial models, writing private placement memorandums and prospectuses, and creating Roadshow and other financial presentations. Loren earned her BBA in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Adam Prior, Vice President

Adam has been an Executive at The Equity Group since 2000. During that time, he has helped create and directly manage full-service investor relations programs for companies in industries including transportation, financial services, medical services, alternative energy and technology. Adam manages all aspects of the IR function, including writing/editing, investment community outreach, media relations, counseling and research. Prior to joining The Equity Group, Adam worked at the Financial Relations Board, a national IR firm, where he helped provide a wide range of investor relations services to clients in various industries. Adam received a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Nebraska.

Lena Cati, Senior Account Executive

Lena has been a Senior Account Executive at The Equity Group since 2006. During that time, she has been instrumental in executing full-service investor relations programs for companies in a broad range of industries including civil construction, oil and gas, aerospace and defense, consumer products as well as industrial companies. Lena is involved in all aspects of the IR function, including writing/editing, financial community outreach, media relations and research. Prior to joining The Equity Group, Lena spent eight years at Capital Link, an international IR firm, where she provided a wide range of investor relations services to clients in various industries. Lena, who is fluent in Greek and Albanian, and has working knowledge of Italian, is a graduate of the University of Tirana, where she majored in Finance.

Melissa Dixon, Senior Account Executive

Melissa has been a Senior Account Executive at The Equity Group since November 2007. Melissa is involved in all aspects of the IR function, including writing/editing, financial community outreach, organizing deal and non-deal roadshows, media relations, counseling and research. Prior to joining The Equity Group, Melissa was a Senior Account Executive at The Piacente Group, an IR firm based in New York, where she was instrumental in directing and implementing a wide range of investor relations services to clients in various industries, including technology, healthcare, consumer and retail. Melissa received a Bachelor's Degree in International Business with a minor in French from Texas Tech University.

Katherine Yao, Account Executive

Katherine joined The Equity Group in 2009 as an Account Executive, working primarily with US listed companies based in China. Katherine is involved in all aspects of the IR function, including writing/editing (press releases, corporate profiles, presentations, pitch letters, scripts), financial community outreach, media relations, counseling and research. Katherine has a strong financial background, having most recently worked as a Corporate Financial Analyst at Baron Group in New York, and is fluent in Mandarin. Her region specific work included in-field research of buy-side companies in mainland China, included conducting seminars for potential client companies in major cities like Shanghai and Beijing. Katherine received a Bachelors Degree from State University of New York, where she majored in Applied Math & Statistics and Economics.
