Reflecting the background and experiences of its founder and senior staff, The Equity Group’s approach to the practice of investor relations is rooted in finance. From client evaluation to assessing historical and future operating performance, we understand the language of business and the culture of professional investing. While our approach is tailored to meet the needs of each client, it generally encompasses the following key components: Initial Review – Our reputation is only as good as the companies we represent, so we conduct a thorough review of each potential client before initiating a relationship. Once we begin working together, we continue the learning process, so that we can serve as an extension of our client to the financial community. Peer Analysis – Understanding a company’s peers and its industry standing is critical. With the information garnered in the initial review and peer analysis, we develop positive, understandable messages and positioning statements to effectively communicate a client’s story to targeted audiences. Three-Month Plan – At the outset, and periodically throughout our relationship, we develop three-month plans with our clients to organize the various components of their investor relations programs.
Accountability - We provide our clients a monthly summary of activities, and periodic detailed activity reports covering contact work. Equity Group associate also keep weekly timesheets. ![]() |
